An Arts Program Second to None

In our outstanding studio art program, each student’s creativity is encouraged in projects ranging from pottery to perspectives, mask-making to block-printing.  As they paint, draw, and mold, students delve into new worlds of imagination and joy and mirror the creativeness of our heavenly Father.  Students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 attend art classes two times per week.

In the Thomas V. and Elizabeth E. Meath Clay Studio — the only such studio among area elementary schools – students mold and sculpt pinch pots, vases, and figurines and “throw” a piece or two, each one a unique expression of personality and creativity.  An on-site kiln allows the works to be fired right here.

Our community partnerships like with the Wood Theater allow our students the opportunity to develop their talents and be mentored alongside professionals.
